2013

CASHMERE EXTENDS TO SALES ORDER MANAGEMENT

Backed by its success, and to give an efficient answer to the variety of distribution channels, the Cashmere solution extends to sales order management. This new module fully integrated with retail function enables customers to manage their whole activity whether they run retail, wholesale, B2B or eCommerce operations.


2011

AVAILABILITY OF ORACLE JD EDWARDS ENTERPRISEONE FOR FASHION

After 2 years of intense co-working with Oracle, it is by the beginning of 2011 that the Apparel Management module appears in Oracle’s catalogue, formalizing the availability of a brand-new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for Fashion solution.


2009

INTEGRATION WITH ORACLE

Oracle acquires the Clothing World solution. Thalma, together with Oracle teams, participate in adapting Clothing World functionalities to the standard EnterpriseOne software, for creating the first Oracle ERP solution verticalized for Fashion.


2005

PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THALMA AND ORACLE

After having acquired the buyer of J.D. Edwards, Oracle confirms the strategic partnership unifying the two companies around the distribution of the Clothing World licenses.


2004

THALMA DEVELOPS CASHMERE, A REVOLUTION FOR DISTRIBUTORS

With Cashmere, Thalma invents a multilingual and multi-legislation international store management solution, offering its users real-time operation and fault tolerance. Aigle International is the first customer to adopt the product.


2003

THALMA OPENS UP TO INVESTORS

Credit Mutuel Nord Europe and Access2Net enter Thalma capital to strengthen the capital base of the company and facilitate technology development, sales and marketing.


1999

THALMA AND J.D. EDWARDS LAUNCH A FASHION ERP OFFER FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES

Thanks to its partnership with JD Edwards, Thalma has developed Clothing World, a calibrated ERP solution to meet the requirements of international Fashion companies. The LVMH group adopts the system for its fashion and leather goods brands. Other companies, European and international, follow: Simone Pérèle and Kookai in France, the Austrian company Fischer Skis, Intersport in Spain, Bendon in New Zealand and Rivers Shoes in Australia.


1997

THALMA CREATES AN INNOVATIVE STORE OFFER AT EUROPEAN SCALE

Thalma puts its expertise to the service of Editex. Editex is an innovative project initiated by the French ministry of industry under the auspices of the European commission and designed to develop a direct information sharing system between manufacturers and retailers. Apparel industrials, French federations of Ready-to-Wear and Lingerie, the French institute of textiles and clothing, EAN France and pilot retail groups are involved in this project. For this occasion, Thalma develops e.d.i.mag ©, the first communicating store management software in Europe.


1993

THALMA EXPANDS ITS OFFER TO DISTRIBUTION

By acquiring System+, a company specialized in the management of Fashion stores, Thalma tackles the management of franchisers and chain stores. The back office software Madras © Boutique was born, while the improved software becomes a POS terminal: Thalma has created Madras POS.


1992

MADRAS APPEALS TO INDUSTRIAL MEDIUM SIZE COMPANIES

Thalma markets the first version of Madras © on IBM platform. Its rich functionalities and the simplicity of its implementation seduce many companies like Aubade or Lady de Paris.


1990

CREATION OF THALMA

Backed by their operational experience in optimizing processes and information systems in the Fashion industry, Emile PAPIERNIK and Pierre SZTULMAN create Thalma. Their vision is to provide the Fashion companies with flexible software solutions adapted to their requirements and underlying on industry business best practices.
